Echo and Jingle, when freed from their prison magical dimension, they waddle over to the couple and nudge them so they can play whatever song they want. And probably stare at whatever shiny thing Remus or Riella is holding.

Accordion and Violin go looking for them and find them playing music for R&R with a pile of shinies in front of them like an offering. Riella is also very easily distracted by shiny things and is very happy to show them off to this strange duo of sweet little magic... er. Machines? Creatures? What do Echo and Jingle even count as?

I'm stuck at work too! So while I wait until I'm no longer trapped at work, here's Amelia being completely confused at Echo 🤣

*falls in* I've shown the designs for Echo and Jingle. How would Remus and Riella react to them? (they both use they/them and it/its)

I'll be honest Riella would probably scream in utter terror and jump onto Remus, only to wind up doting lovingly over them once the shock wears off. She'd rapidly grow to adore them! She'd treat them very gently, and would be more than happy to indulge in almost any request from them. Riella is a sucker for anything vaguely cute, okay, she'll spoil them rotten.

Remus would probably continue to be very wary of them, for not much reason beyond just "these things are Strange and dog brain doesn't like them", but he wouldn't be outright terrified or hateful or anything like that! He'd be reluctant to touch them and not talk much with them, but Riella's coaxing and excitement will eventually bring him around. They'd likely be told to tone down the volume pretty often around him, though.

A small study on Echo and Jingle's looks. I've designed them in a way that is based off what animators have to study: the flour sack.

Jingle's form is based on a vertically standing flour sack, but Echo's form is based off more when the flour sack is horizontal. A bit more difficult but I will try my best.

You can see their corners waving, like the ends of an animator's flour sack. Technically it should be impossible for them to move their corners in that way, like in a twisting fashion, but they were created and made by magic users, so we'll just roll with it
