Shutter Island AU

Zoe knew the right things to say and do to be able to get enough freedom that she could walk around the grounds. However that didnt mean she could wander over to Ward C but here she was. She was so curious about the ward that held the worst of the worst and she wanted to know if it really was as bad as they claim. She was careful and silent as she walked, her years being a serial killer had left her with some skills even though they all ended up getting her shipped her.

She heard the sirens go off that a storm was coming and fast. That meant she needed to get back to her room. She sighed heavily, unable to explore at all but voices made her duck behind a corner. "We have to unchain all the prisoners so they dont drown." "Even the kid?" "Doctor didnt say so lets leave him. He creeps me out anyways." The voices faded down the hall and Zoe frowned deeply.

She was not about to let them leave someone to to drown. Even being a murderer Zoe was kind and wanted to help people. She snuck out back into the rain to the nurses office, silently stealing as many blankets as she could carry and a cuff key. By the time she made it back down to ward C, she was soaked but she managed to keep the blankets warm and dry. Once the guards were out of the way, she quickly shoved blankets through the bars of each cell until she got to the kid.

"Here. They arent going to uncuff you." She tossed the key in the cell. She didnt care how dangerous he supposedly was. That didnt matter to her. "And heres a blanket to keep warm." She pushed that through the bars. "Im Zoe by the way. Ill try and come back as soon as the storm passes."
