Oh, I know that from my youtubing days back when I made videos on a regular basis. There was one person who used my footage from one of my videos interspersed in hers and I could tell it was mine cause of the way it didn't change at all editing-wise.
Fortunately the gifset I saw it in does not have as many notes as the original but yeah, it's still not cool.
