You curled yourself and hugged your knees as thunder striked outside your window. You were always scared of the loud noise that thunder storms made, despite enjoying the rain in itself. You were alone in your apartment waiting for Toji come home to you. You had left early from your work since likely stormy weather was all accross the news. Toji still hasn't returned home adding more to your worries for the man. Besides the thunder didn't help at all. You didn't know what to do, being hungry you didn't had the strength to cook when you were constantly being startled by the thunder. So the only option was to lie in bed and put music on loud to avoid hearing it. But it was of no avail as each sound was louder than the previous.
You were on the verge of crying as you felt two warm arms wrap around you. You instantly looked up to see Toji who was staring down at you worried and all drenched in the heavy rain outside. You didn't mind if he was wet and getting your sheets soaked, you immediately hugged him tightly in response. When this time the thunder strike again, you hugged him tighter as he soothingly rubbed his hand down your head and back. It somehow instantly calmed you down, being in his warmth. Ever since you two had started dating, it was a new feeling to you. A feeling if security every time he was around you. It's as if you know, nothing will ever go wrong when he is with you.
You instantly calmed and melted in his embrace. So much that you didn't even notice the second strike of thunder that was quite more louder than all the previous ones. You were just glad that Toji was home safe and the fact that you were in his arms now.
Toji: Ohh, I am wetting the sheets. I think I must change first. Can you wait for a few moments, darling??
Y/n: No!! I don't wanna wait Toji. I wanna come with you wherever you go. I am too scared here, alone. Take me with you...
Toji: Fine, doll. As you wish...
Toji lifted you in his arms and took you towards the bathroom where he put on a good show of changing his clothes in front of you, while you were waiting for him in the warm bath. Soon he joined you and you two took bath together and of course had some fun too.
Once you were both relaxed and out of shower. Toji went to kitchen and you followed him like a lost kitten. He made you sit at the kitchen counter while he prepared soon delicious food for you both. You both ate together and went to your room to finally sleep. As you snuggled in his chest you remembered that the thunder had already stopped and you didn't even notice it. Wasn't it so amazing that you were so lost in him that you didn't even notice when your fear disappeared with it. You smiled to yourself as Toji hugged you in return and pushed your face further into his chest as he sighed tiredly in your soothing warmth.
