I WATCHED IT AS SOON AS ITS ON HULU WEEPS no tv out here ]
I'm pretty sure they count those views for rating, so it's all good. Though the wait... UGH. I don't know why ratings are so low for this show, it's so good.

Hulu Plus is the same I think! ]
Thank you! I'll double-check on that and add it to that post. Legit sources man. I need a Carol movie. And a Nat movie. And a MArIA HILL MOVIE OKAY OKAY.

Assignments really were her least favorite part of the job.
It seemed strange to say that, because once upon a time the adventure of a thing had been the biggest draw to the diminutive woman currently crouched on the roof of an exquisite gothic-style mansion. She had craved the travel and experiences of her novels, but as she wrapped one hand around the silver lioness pendant around her neck and peered down through the glass of the skylight dome, she suspected that something vital was lost from the whole experience when it was undertaken alone.
Because right now she would have given just about anything to be home curled up in her lab reading Voyage of the Dawn Treader to her Asset while they tinkered with whatever her latest project was.
Instead, she was in Norway of all places, shivering in the sub-zero temperatures as she waited for the rooms below to empty. Only then could she slip in and retrieve the source of the massive power signature; that it had registered on the primitive HYDRA sensors of the time had been strange enough.
That she had felt it immediately upon stepping out of the plane had made something sick and uneasy twist in her stomach; it was a feeling that had never quite dissipated. She swallowed against it and closed her eyes, focusing her energy on her own body systems to raise her internal temperature by a couple degrees. It didn't help her feel much better, but she knew it would keep her limbs supple rather than stiff from the chill.
In her line of work, the dark-haired woman dressed all in black had learned that the difference between life and death was often measured in the fractional spaces between heartbeats. Every advantage mattered.
Every single one.

" Strange. "
[ her eyes were on the diner's advertisement, conveniently placed outside of the window. ]
" I never knew chicken fried steak was not actually made of, well, chicken. "
[ then again, she held a natural aversion toward anything with 'fried' in it. all the word told her was the fact there was a higher breading-to-meat ratio, and being a woman who ate about ninety percent animal, it did not sound appetizing. ]

Thor's return had been something of a surprise, and Sif hadn't even been in the realm when he was welcomed back. Only learning that he had come back from Midgard when she arrived back in the Observatory and her brother had informed her of that fact.
By the time she had reached his quarters, she was breathless, annoyed at herself for being in such a hurry to see him, but unwilling to wait any longer before she did. She paused in front of his door only long enough to catch her breath before rapping on it.
