Call me crazy, but I consider Last Days Of The Thunderchild to be the canonical look of HMS Thunderchild, While I do like Baron Engel's depiction looking like HMS Victoria, Thunderchild to me has always been a outdated ironclad ram pressed back into service during the Martian invasion, basically whatever the channel fleet had laying around in the shipyard.

(explanation: this is the Thunderchild mod that among other things adds the ability to gain favour with Kyne for stronger shouts. One of the ways is by killing 'spirit animals' that glow like this. Normally fine but sometimes she puts out a hit on the Jarl's dog or a carriage horse or something and this time it's my daughter's pet fox.)
(I may dislike foxes but I didn't do it, I'm not a monster)
