                  his anger is both heard and seen. confrontation is not what he wants right now, but what he needs ? maybe it is not either. yes, it is possible that she is in the wrong. but old habits die hard and how she’s lived for years was without a king and without backing down. so it doesn’t matter if she should bow her head and accept his words. it doesn’t matter if perhaps she is wrong. that isn’t a thought. she stands her ground the same way he does.

                   and so thor’s clenched fists are met with valkyrie’s own, her stance stays tall ––––––––– albeit, yes, shorter than his. and she doesn’t listen to the feel of his presence that beckons to be listened to, even somewhere like they are now. no, she won’t just give in. may it be both the best and the worst thing about her.
