Just for thwarteddreams.
They always stood over us. Protecting us from the very wet, the very hot, the cold, the wind, they always kept what was outside away. And yet from the inside, you were safe from the other side. That feeling of security they gave you through their double glazzed wonder. Bloody Double glazing.
We never imagined that one day, the windows might rise up, that they might become bored of being the blockade from the outside world. And that's what they did, on a cold evening, they all upped and left, all over the world, entire buildings left without windows, cold breezes blasting through them, huge skyscrapers made entirely from the glassy fuckers, were turned into nothing more than supports and cute office stationary.
They left no record of where they had gone, for a long time, people suspected some wonder of science had been behind it, turning all of the glass into sand again through some act of the atmosphere, or some act of god for those with a bit more imagination.
Neither were true, the Windows, were infact, Blue Screened.
