1. What’s your favorite band and why?

I love Bastille atm. They have this cool eclectic and slightly tribal sound, and their lyrics are gorgeous. They even have a violist in three or four tracks on their debut album! VIOLA POWER! And I also like Of Monsters and Men, Florence and the Machine, Linkin Park (my gateway drug to the good stuff), and Mumford on Sigh No More. 

2. What’s your earliest memory?

Erghhhh. If I'm being completely honest and not at all poetic, I have to say it was when I was two and me and my dad were picking out a Minnie Mouse balloon for my new sister and I remember the shiny white floors of the department store and the sparkly watches haha.

3. Why are you friends with your best friend?

I honestly don't really have a BEST friend, but the friends I have I can talk about the weirdest things to and they're like, Ok Celine. And it doesn't necessarily freak them out when I get obsessive. And to my chicas StayLovely92 and Lizzy (don't know her tumblr), it is a highlight of my day fangirling with you about the amazingness that is captain swan. 

4. Favorite anime/manga~~

Heh. hehe. U asian, u. Hehehehe well the only manga I have ever watched was Howl's Moving Castle (I loved but I think the book was better as always), Spirited Away (>.<), and like 20 minutes of a Pokemon episode. So I don't see myself qualified enough to give a good answer haha

5. What would be your idea of the perfect day?

AGH I DONT KNOWWWW. Probably a really peaceful day in winter at our chalet in ski country and the sun setting with pink and yellow and light blue streaks across the horizon and sticking snow and branches with that white blanket on them and just sitting in the woods in the snow and singing or listening to music. But I don't know, perfect moments just kind of happen, you know? Like being at Magic Kingdom at Disney World or swinging as the sun sets and seeing your shadow stretch or pretending to be wizards and polishing "wands" in lemon juice or walking in the rain after the winter.

6. If you were to live in a fictional universe, which would it be?

NOOOOOPE YOU CAN'T ASK ME THIS! Grrrrrr. Well, it would be cool to go to Hogwarts or Camp Half Blood or to be a fairytale character like let's be real it would be a dream come true to find out you were Snow White and Prince Charming's kid *wink wink* I also really like the world and images drawn by Laurel Long in the fairytale, "The Magic Nesting Doll". It's slightly Russian, and the colors and environment looks gorgeous ugh

7. Which brand of the military would you join in the SNK universe?

I don't know SNK, Mel. SOrrY!!!

8. What’s your ideal type in a boyfriend/girlfriend?

DAMMIT MELISSA Y U NO ASK EASY QUESTIONS?!?! Haha Well, at first I totally thought my type was the good-natured, kind, artistic type guy. But the more I think about it, I've been crushing on some fictional bad boys recently! *coughCaptainHookFlynnRiderJaceWaylandcough* But I think what it comes down to is not someone's past actions, it's if they are willing to be a better person for you. If you make them the one they want to be. Someday I want someone to look at me like I hung the moon, that's what it comes down to. I don't ever want to be second best or a consolation prize. If I find true love, which I'm scared doesn't really exist, I want it to be the kind that when two people look at each other, nothing else matters. 

9. Who from history do you respect the most? (leaders, scientists, artists)

Well, I really really am thankful for Walt Disney, but I can't get over the kinds of things Tchaikovsky wrote for orchestras. Swan Lake is one of my favorite things of all time, and the fact that you can actually hear the story in the music without any talking speaks volumes to me.

10. What do you want to be when you grow up??

I really think it would be amazing to become fluent in the language of music and be able to express myself with that level of passion every day. Playing viola has really gotten me to see that you can let your emotions out in such a raw, romantic, gorgeous way, and I definitely would want to keep all that in my life. Aside from that, filmmaking is pretty cool, but there are next to no females in that field. I just think it's great to get a message out to such large audiences like that, plus I always get super angry when directors adapt a book and fuck it up. *cougheveryYAbookmovieevereventheendofcatchingfirecoughdisappointingcough* And actors seem like really cool people, especially the ones that are musical too and I just want to be a part of that world.

11. Why do any of you even interact with me omg

OMG MELISSA I've known you since preschool you idiot you're like one of my only friends haha! It's just really rare for me that someone just GETS me and I feel like you're one of the few people who do and let's face it, viola buddies are for life ok? so sad I dont get to sit with you this year!!! You're awesome and I still remember when you came to my kindergarten pirate birthday party and we all had eyepatches and were missing teeth! I LUV YOU OK.
