“I started doubting you twenty minutes ago, buggy.” One eye is swollen shut behind the green lenses of her goggles, ashen hair stained with blood as he wraps her rolled ankle with webbing till Strange can really bind it. He’ll scold the two of them, Ciri for flubbing the landing when you can do better, Cirilla and Peter for thinking she could keep up with him because her cabling doesn’t move as quickly as the webbing, Peter. She isn’t really made of steel, no matter how much she’d like to think so. She’ll snap at his fingers with sharp teeth while she wipes the blood from beneath Peter’s cheekbone and he’ll only laugh at the both of them, sipping from the hot chocolate Ciri had demanded asked for when they came in.
But, for now, the city is crumbling around them. The Avengers are … to be located as she and Peter had been having it out with Norman on the Brooklyn bridge. Now, clustered on a rooftop together, Ciri lets out a yowl as he tugs at the webbing to make sure her ankle will be stable. “PETER!” She can’t help but kicking out at him, digging the heel of her boot into his ribs. “You’re horrid!” Pushing away from him, she rises to her feet, resting her weight gingerly on her ankle as she hisses. Hobbling to the edge of the roof, she can’t help but flashing him a quick smile, bumping their elbows together so as not to set off any of the electricity in her gloves. “Don’t die, alright? You’re not half bad to hang out with.”
