Hey guys! I’m sorry I’ve been gone so long. I had some personal issues going on, but now I’m back and ready to get this going again. In the interest of having a fresh start, I’ve decided to focus solely on Felicia and actually move her to a new blog, which can be found right here!

“Ah it’s not that bad,” he shrugs smiling over at her. “But, I can definitely help you out. All we do is work on computers and fix them up, get them working again. It’s fun and I can show you where everything goes or just do most of the work for you then that way you won’t really have to worry about not understanding it. You seem bright though, Gwen… I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it!”

Help her out? She could be okay with that. She ran her fingers through her hair, smiling gently. “Well, thank you. If you can help me, I’d really appreciate it. Maybe we can study together before tests and stuff?”

She smiled at him? Properly smiled at him? Boy did Peter love that smile. “Yeah! Uh, I’ll see you in computer tech… uh have fun in chemistry.” he gives a nervous laugh at that, rubbing the back of his head as he watched her walk off. Turning on his heels he heads to his first period class, hoping that they’d be able to sit beside each other in computer tech.

Classes couldn’t have gone by any slower, finally fourth period had come and there she was walking in a bit after he did. “Gwen! Hey! I saved you a seat!” he called out to her moving the math textbook he had sitting in the chair beside him.

He saved her a seat? Ugh, she could just melt. What a sweetheart. “Thank you.” She grinned at Peter, butterflies fluttering around in her stomach as she did. “I feel like you’re going to have to help me a lot with this one... I love chemistry but computers aren’t usually my thing.”

A child’s laughter can be heard from the living room, Peter with his and Gwen’s already four-year-old daughter are currently in a tickle match that Peter is seeming to win. A screaming squeal comes from the small girl as she reaches for her mother. “Help!” she calls out in a tiny voice. Peter simply laughs making growling noises “oh no you don’t! Mommy won’t help you now!”

Gwen’s grin widened, giggling a little as she begged for help. “Oh, I don’t think Dad wants me to fight him. He knows I’d kick his butt,” she teased, wiggling her eyebrows at Peter a little.

Michelle was usually alone in the library at this time, with everyone else either outside or at home or in a class. Usually, it was just her sitting around, reading, studying until time passed. Well, until enough time passed.

This time there was a girl. As she smiled at Michelle, Michelle simply smiled back. She was nice, especially with new people and as far as she understood, that was the new girl. “Hey there. You’re new, right?”

“Yeah, I just started... I’m Gwen. I think we have science together, don’t we?” she pointed out. Obviously, however, she’d never gotten the chance to talk before. Gwen wasn’t much for speaking out during class, especially considering she was still getting acclimated.

“Chemistry? I can take you to your class, here let me see your schedule.” He smiles reaching his hand out to take it from her. “I’m Peter by the way. Uh, it’s nice to meet you.” Peter couldn’t help but grin at her. His smile faded soon, however, when he realized that she had a crush on Spiderman, not the boy out of the suit. Shaking off the thought he takes the schedule from her scanning over her classes. “Hey, we have computer tech together! Uh, anyways your chemistry class is uh just down the hall to your left.”

“Oh, thanks,” she said, brushing a few strands of hair behind her ear. Well, this was definitely an interesting turn of events. She didn’t have boys that looked like Peter at her old school. “I’m Gwen. It’s nice to meet you too...” Her smile widened a little at the mention of them having a class together, though she couldn’t help but notice his smile had faded. “Right, well.... I’ll see you then. Thanks, Peter.” She switched her books into her other hand and went along down the hallway, sneaking a look back at him for a moment. She blushed and then walked into her classroom, hoping that she’d be able to pay attention even a little bit.

Felicia rested her head against the wall, letting out a deep sigh as she looked up at the ceiling. It seemed that all of those college roommate horror stories were absolutely true. Though she had tried to give Brittany the benefit of the doubt, this was the third night that week that she had been kicked out so that she could hang out with some student athlete. As much as she wanted to be accomodating, she also wanted a decent night’s sleep before her exam at eight in the morning. 

Pulling her knees up to her chest, she grabbed her phone and glance at the time. It was already midnight? Well, wasn’t that just perfect. She bit her lower lip, her gaze going to the door for just a brief second before she shook her head. To go in would only mean disaster for herself. She was sure of it. Instead, she grabbed her notes and began to look them over. That was, until she heard some footsteps. Felicia suddenly wished she wasn’t wearing Hello Kitty pajama pants. She looked up, seeing it was the boy from down the hall. She had never officially met him, but she had seen him before. “I swear I don’t usually just hang around the hall... My roommate locked me out,” she explained.

School had approached faster than Peter expected before he knew it the bus was parking at its stop in the schools’ driveway. Making his way down the halls of Midtown, Peter had managed to run into Gwen he almost asked if she was still shaken up by the events that took place recently. He caught himself just before he could do anything of the sort instead giving a shy awkward wave when they had bumped shoulders. “Sorry… I should have been watching where I was going.”

Gwen was more nervous than she had been in her entire life. Well, scratch that. She was more nervous meeting Spiderman, but this was a close second. Being at a new school and essentially having to make all new friends made her anxious, especially with the added pressure of it being a high school for the gifted. Nonetheless, Gwen was going to do her best to make a good first impression. “Oh, no. It’s totally fine,” she said, shaking her head a little. “I guess I wasn’t really paying attention either. I’ve been trying to find the chemistry lab?”
