Thy Veils presents: Here We Are Sidereal (Galactic Tick Day Live Special)

November 2023 - This live performance took place at the Galactic Tick Festival on Galactic Tick Day, held in Timișoara, Romania, on September 9th, 2023. This festival is a notable event within Timișoara's cultural program as the European Capital of Culture in 2023. It’s a fantastic opportunity for artists and audience to interact, bringing a breath of creativity and artistic innovation to the country and beyond. Thy Veils set out to embrace the spirit of the festival by performing the track in such a way that it transcends the mere musical experience, aiming instead to provide a full-rounded experience for all senses. “Here We Are Sidereal” is also a perfect match with the event’s goal, which is to actually highlight the convergence of artistic expression and celestial themes, emphasizing the interconnectedness of cultural festivities and astronomical events - a strong link that’s as old as humanity’s most ancestral traditions.

The song features a soothing electronic backdrop, with synth pads and lush arpeggios, adorned with sparse, yet driving drum machine beats. There’s even room for some amazing ambient guitar tones!

The music was performed with a dance choreography, lights and projections, creating a futuristic and mesmerizing experience for the viewers.

Thy Veils - Neoradiant - synthwave from Romania that is indeed radiant

Neoradiant is the next step in Thy Veils’ odyssey, a new and vast dimension. Announced on 1 January 2017, Neoradiant is the name of a new chapter for Thy Veils, defined by an artistic vision that focuses on the future and getting there guided by a sense of wonder, enthusiastic dynamics and the contemplative ecstasies of freely exploring the Universe and its reality. Under the name of Neoradiant there will be produced and release not only new songs and video art but also comics, conceptual shows, installations, concept photography and more. Joyfully, a full length Neoradiant Sci-Fi feature film is in production.
