Soooo, didn’t expect this to be my first addition to Sims 2 mods and other stuff... But I decided why not, and I’m going to share my personal set of Multi-PTs along with the correlated Skin Default I made to go along with. Basically this is just a very basic mod, it adds 3 custom PTs and then just uses the original one as well.

Since as you’ll see from their close ups...

I really, really like the squished noses and other awkward genetics that the aliens tend to offer. Big eyes as well, although they are... a bit of a mixed bag, since I wanted a variety of genetics, aside just the hair colour you could spawn... 

AS FOR THE CORRELATED SKINTONE. I’m not going to give any spoilers, but there is an issue with the elder’s skulls.

And I’ve done all the tricks I know to try and resolve this but gotten nowhere. As for the skin/skins themselves. They’re a blend of the Birth Queen skin along with the Aileen Landing extra alien skintone.

Whhhhy are Sims 2 overlays so hard to make?! All I want to do is make these work, but they’re not and I don’t understand... I just want to expand this birthmark box: https://www.tumblr.com/themeasureofasim/622822207772573696/after-seeing-these-alien-recolours-by-vixsims-of with a couple of other variations on the marks... for more interesting/unique options... I have the files half made but no matter what it just-- doesn’t seem to be working and I don’t know what I’m missing....

Just wish it could work without me playing mystery box on what’s not working T_T... 

For now I’m shelving the idea and just going to sit and layback.

Does anyone else have an issue with Plantsims and sunlamps/sunlights/the sunlight hack just stopping working sometimes, also I note it down because I took the hack out and just used the game’s original sunlamp and that doesn’t seem to want to work either so I’m just... lost. 

For now the workaround for me is just extract the BCON and do the incredibly cheaty make sunlight go up inside but I really need to track down what stealth conflict is causing this because I am tired of my plantsims been unable to get any sunlight indoors at all.

I especially noticed when I figured out how to change the mesh of the tail to Gryning’s conversion from TS4. 

With Meduza’s conversions for children and teens-- but it does seem that only elders are getting their right tail varient. Just thought I’d add this post so you could see it, not just have the ask. Sorry if this is an issue.

Folks who know SimPE is there an easier way to change all the files in a pakage to 0xFFFFFFF? Because I am trying to clone and make all the teen careers vampire teen friendly, and of course as CUSTOM careers not replacements-- but boooy it takes a lot to change that many items-- ugh.

Sooooo this is why I’ve removed midge‘s larger litters mod. Whenever my pets tried to have 8 babies... well this kept happening. This was just the last one and kind of what made me done. 

Didn’t find any conflicts, just seemed to be the game throwing a fit over it. So you know.

This is also a resource edited by Simler’s Homework Assignment Mod https://modthesims.info/d/632073/homework-assignment-mods.html Which yeah, would be really nice to make all these compatible and keep what they do. Since right now, whichever loads last, wins. 

(I have that for teens teaching themselves)
