“Helen...” There’s the tilt of her chin, an eye turned toward her, before she gestures with the point of her chin toward the stranger. “I do believe, she just greeted me.”

“Are you going to try and exorcise me again? Burn some cleanser? Stink up the homestead in the name of your peace and quiet?” She eyed Helen again but then turns her eye inward toward the pages of the small book balanced between her hands. Addison begins to skim along the pages before another thought occurs and sh turns her nose away again. “You may as well start early, so we may at least crack a panel in the window and have the room cleared before sunset at the very least.”

There’s a curious blink with the tilt of her head. A search of their surroundings with the flit of her eyes and the land on Helen who was doing her own little errand in this vast library. Then she turns back to Asilin with a short smile. “You mean toward our bond?” Addison starts with the fold of her hands together at her back. “If you are to speak of my time here as one of imprisonment, I believe you’ve found yourself with a strewn misconception. We are bound in soul, as one would describe..” She searched for the word, something of this century. “A guardian angel. Though, I am no angel, and Helen is by no means a Holy Christian, we are of a different life. I am as one would say- a shield to protect her with everything that I am capable of.”
She lets that settle in the air again, and then continues with the perk of her brow. “One could almost call it a second chance at being alive, I suppose. I did die, after all. Though, once you know Death it is not so daunting, the act of dying is the uncomfortable part.” She hums to herself. “Especially when there’s so much blood.”
“I can show you more. if you wish it.” Words are cautious, tentative as Addison watched Helen closely. They had come after her again, it would seem they had caught a whiff of her ability- as little as she uses it. It would seem her own defense was enough to raise a few Seekers to come sniffing for them. And it was through Addison’s own ability this round that they had managed to lose them, had managed to circle around and land themselves on a path back into the confines of Addison’s home.
“I can show you everything if it pleases you. If you would let me... I might even share pieces of myself... It would only be fair after all...” Since Addison has been with Helen since the very beginning. Perhaps that would do it? A trade for a trade, if Addison were to show a more personal side, would Helen mayhaps be open to that is in her very blood?
@thysword / gets a starter, cause I’m trying to build up to the Juliet Reveal- Addison death. But first we have to establish powers via writing. if Helen wants to pre-death, if not then- ooo angst. What’s it gonna be Helen? B)

“Well. Hi there.” She said while looking down at the girl. She had been meditating on top of her RV. “I’m Rose. We arrived here today.” She stands and smiles at her. “Give me a second to come down, I love meeting new people.” Especially when those people seem to have steam.

“I did not say it like that.” Words are softly spoken with the flick of her eye downward. There is the heavy notion in the air that would suggest that no matter the word she spoke, it wouldn’t matter right this moment. If Helen was anything, she was sure of everything, and once her mind was made up there was no going back.
“I said you should give it a chance. If you believe disappointment is your thing, than it would be much more grand to see it done elsewise... You deserve better. Starting from yourself. I hope someday you realize that.”

She felt it. That feeling of misplacement, that nagging feeling of being unfit to the situation surrounding them. Like she didn’t belong within the vast numbers of people here. Addison lifts her head to the bustle of living creatures around them; the bust and grind of the common folk doing what they did best in this work place. Exist. And then it dawns on her in this moment, with the words from Helen herself that this feeling was not her own.
And with it, came another realization. Helen was having a small panic, and so Addison straightens her shoulders with the comb of the wear at the front of her torso. “How about we take a leave? Go on for a walk, I am sure they will allow that much.”
