The Poison Garden

Established in 2005 by the Duchess of Northumberland. The garden contains over 100 deadly and hallucinogenic plants. 

’I wondered why so many gardens around the world focused on the healing power of plants rather than their ability to kill… I felt that most children I knew would be more interested in hearing how a plant killed, how long it would take you to die if you ate it and how gruesome and painful the death might be.’

So this garden was established because a woman knew that they way to get kids intrested in learning about plants was to show them how morbid plants could be. My kind of woman.

the Silence: the lone singular existence when a Sword loses their Shield. this companionship of the mind and soul are formed at the birth of the Sword. When a Shield is cut away, it leaves a literal gap within their souls, and it is a void that is deeply felt by a Sword. the term comes from the silence that comes with the absence of the other soul bound to them, where there was a voice to keep one’s company, in battle and home- there is naught but silence.

      listening to this, and thinking about Addison being sad about her mystery lady. About how she traced the scar along her collarbone, and looked to her. And it was a tender kiss traded, one that the world can never know about because being attracted to women in the 1740-50′s was hard as hell. And she just gets sad cause its 2019 now and sometimes she misses her.
