Strokes According to GNM
In this article I will write about Red/Hot Strokes, which occur when the conflict is over and the body is already in healing.
I remember a case of an 85-year-old healthy gentleman who suffered a DHS when he was attempting to cross the road and a car turned the corner at the same time. The driver of the car slammed on his brakes but not before hitting the man who he said “froze” when he saw him. Luckily, the car was going slow and although the man fell to the ground he was not injured and was able to get up with assistance.
He had received a DHS of “not being able to escape” with this event and the next day, when he was in healing, he was taken to the hospital with paralysis diagnosed as a stroke.
One can also experience a stroke when healing from similar conflict themes, such as “feeling tied down”; “feeling stuck”; or “not being able to hold on.”
The healing symptoms occur during the EpiCrisis when the brain edema is pushed out (the push initiates the stroke). Symptoms are epileptic-like muscle cramps or convulsions, cold sweats, nausea, weakness or paralysis of arms and/or legs, facial paralysis and difficulty speaking when the Broca center is involved. They may also have headaches.
After the EpiCrisis there should be gradual improvement of the paralysis. These people will often do well because they are already in healing. However, if they continue to have paralysis, it is because they are in a hanging healing or the edema is not completely pressed out – usually when there is water retention from “Syndrome” or fear.
When there is a stroke with speech impairment, the Broca center is involved and the related conflict is “scare/fright.” The gentleman mentioned in this article was very frightened and therefore, had Broca center involvement.
The degree of the symptoms is determined by the intensity of the DHS and although his DHS was intense, it was short-lived and he gradually made a complete recovery.
TIA’s (Trans Ischemic Attacks) are smaller versions of a stroke.

we met on the 7th floor of charlesgate east in 1991, were college roommates, then real life grownup friends. jen is as steady a person as i've ever met. deeply generous and kind, with a charisma that draws you in and keeps you coming back. she's effervescent-- or as we say, electric!
we surprised jen with a mobile photo booth at the party celebrating her big FOUR-OH. there were mardi gras wigs and fake noses, hiphop shades, feather boas, even a tomahawk. jen worked the room in an elephant trunk or an afro, hugging friends in rickshaw hats and granny glasses as i merrily snapped away.
yes, it was a party, but the big, juicy energy on that patio was all about celebrating this girl we all love.
to your birthday, jenny electric, and twenty years of friendship i'm so grateful for!
