It is, actually! I did way too much hairpin research on this for no reason at all ofc //sweats

So, like, I could still be 100% wrong because I looked into this a while ago and don't remember verbatum, BUT! From what I read, the woman gives the man her hairpin as a sign of betrothal. More specifically, she breaks it in half and gives him one half, as the promise that they'll put it back together on their wedding, forever sealing their love and devotion to one another.

I also read somewhere that they give each other a lock of their hair, so they're always with their lover until their wedding day? But, again, I could be misremembering facts.

I've definitely seen different scenarios of women giving the men their hairpin or the other way around of a man gifting the woman a hairpin as a sign of engagement and so on, but UGH!! UUUUGGGHHH!!!!

I love the thought that Wukong and Macaque handcraft a hairpin for Nibby, implementing all motifs into it (sun, moon, ocean), and Nibby is the one to break it into three pieces, gifting one piece to each monkey, and promising the three of them will put it back together when they're married.

So like, I am pretty certain someone asked this before, but with amazing writing comes a lot of fans and a lot of questions (in short I was scrolling for a good while in the asks before I threw the towel)

So I was just wondering how tall the main cast is? For example Zan, Mac n' cheese (Macaque), Wukong, Erlang, etc.. As well as how tall you personally like to imagine nibby! These are very crucial to my very important imaginary scenarios 💪😼

I couldn't add anymore people than I already did, but here's (almost) everyone!

Erlang is 6'4"

Zan is the same height as Macaque at 5'8"

Mei and Nezha are the same height at 5'5"

Do you ever imagine what type of aesthetic or specific clothing style Nibby would wear?

I've always imagined them wearing loose, comfy clothes like a sweatshirt with a short-sleeve underneath or a long-sleeve/sweater!

Especially in the beginning of the fic, when they didn't like others seeing their scars, Nibby would always wear long sleeves to hide them, but in more recent chapters, though I haven't EXPLICITLY pointed it out regularly, it's been mentioned on occasion that they're wearing more short-sleeves~

General style-wise... I kinda just imagine like street-style clothing. Pretty simple, but they're definitely capable of having a nice fit going, they're usually just too busy to bother caring X"D
