Stars || Cordelia
Severa walked towards the hill, something that she started doing recently but she was surprised to find someone else there. “Ugh… what are you doing here… mother…?”
Cordelia merely smiled at her daughter then walked towards her. “I was just wondering why you would come to this area around this time lately. Is there something wrong?”
“No there isn’t.” she sighed then looked away from her. “I just like being alone.”
“Are you really sure about that?” the knight narrowed her eyes. It may have been a few weeks since they met, but her mother instincts were telling her that she was just saying that and really had other thoughts. “I’m your mother Severa. You can tell me if something’s bothering you right?”
The mercenary gritted her teeth then sighed, briefly looking at her then looked towards the sky. “Lucina was right… the stars are brighter here than in the future…”
“P-Pardon…?” she blinked. For once her daughter was talking with her about the future without being bribed with dessert.
“Ugh, I’m stargazing mother! Father taught me about some of the constellations and I just like looking at them from time to time… Although… now seems a lot clearer than before.”
Cordelia smiled. “Oh really…? That seems nice of him. Will you teach me some since we’re here?” she bit her lip. Was she overstepping her bounds about this? “If you want me to leave, then I’ll leave.”
“Wait mother.” Severa looked at her then bit her lip, holding onto her arm. “Y-You can… stay… Just this once though…!” she smiled lightly. It was nice to have company once in awhile though and… maybe she can stop having those other thoughts about killing herself and looking down from the cliff.
“Thank you Severa. I would really like that.” she smiled and sat down, looking up at the stars. “Hmm… what’s that star right there?”
“That one?” she sat with her mother and smiled. “That’s…”
(Lights Out M!A) The day's skirmish was getting hectic and overwhelming. Too many Risen mages were cornering the army, and Cordelia was running low on health with no vulneraries left. She had no choice but to attempt a healing spell she had barely practiced. She equipped a Sol sword and raised it to the sky, emitting a flash of light that confused the enemies around her before she sucked the life out of them every time she slashed one of them.
Once most of them fell to the ground, she noticed the yammers of someone behind her. Cordelia turned around to find Severa having trouble fending off a Risen swordmaster. She was stabbing at random as if she was blindfolded and did not know where the enemy's chest was. She finally reached his chest, but only after the swordmaster had gotten close enough to make a cut on her arm.
"Severa!," Cordelia shouted as she ran toward her daughter. She ripped the bottom of her skirt to wrap around Severa's arm. "I'm sorry dear, I don't have any vulneraries, but I'll get you a healer soon."
"Ngh... M-Mother...? D-Don't worry about me, I can still fight, not well like usual but I can still fight...!" she winced as her mother wrapped up her arm.
"M-Mother don't worry about me, let's just finish up this Risen fight then go back to the tent." she grabbed her sword, forgetting about using her other senses to fight since this is practically the first time she's fought blind.
Happy Birthday Mother!
I'm away form my laptop and in Michigan at the moment so hopefully this shows up on the right day... Uhm... Happy birthday mother! And hope that you enjoyed 'cause this was hard to write!
Heal
Olivia ran around her tent frantically as Cordelia’s fever built. The dancer felt so useless in this type of situation, why did Cordelia come to her? Well, she really didn't, Olivia just happened to be around when the redhead collapsed. So, she did what came naturally to her, she brought Cordelia back to her tent and attempted to nurse her back to health. Really, she was just trying to be useful. She already had Cordelia in her bed with a cold, damp cloth placed on her blazing forehead.
The pinkette's footsteps were light and cautious as she held the warm bowl of soup in her hands. After what seemed like forever, she finally made it to the bedside, placing the bowl on the nightstand. Olivia huffed out a sigh of relief.
"This soup should help...D-do you need me to feed you?"

"Ah, now here are some faces I recognize! Sorry for the absence guys. How've you all been lately? Included kickin' major Risen behinds, right?"
I love you
"Wha-- I-I love you too Mother... please believe me..."
"Happy Birthday Donnel!", says Cordelia as she hands him a Luna lance with a bow tied to it.
“H-huh? Golly…” Donnel took the gift from Cordelia and stared at it, his eyes widened in surprise. He wasn’t expecting any gifts this day- nor for anyone to really remember that today was his birthday… He clutched it tight and held it close to him, a big grin on his face.
“Thank ya so much, Cordelia! Ya really didn’t need to go and get me a gift… But I really appreciate this, I do! Thank ya kindly again.”
