You can’t have a good layover in Hong Kong China without meeting the Big Buddha. Upon arriving with just a backpack I got a visit permit (good for 4 months). From the airport I took a bus_ S1 for .45 cents (converted $) toward Lantau Island. From the Ngong Ping Station got on a Crystal Cabin cable ride $40 round trip. The view was Worth it! 268 steps!!! later lol I took an UBER ride in a Tesla for $6. Back to the airport all by myself!
