Just finished chap 4 and omg!!!!!! So many thoughts!!

First of all, your characterization of kenchole is sooo cute 🥹🥹🥹. I loved the little tidbits like the shared Magic: The Gathering board being in the closet, and AGHH CHIARAAA SHES SUCH A CUTIEEE. I'm so excited to read more of what you have in store for them!!

also the whole mystery surrounding Kenny's disappearance, where Chaos' minions came from... youve got me hooked!! The minions remind me a lot of the cyborg dudes that uhh that one scientist in Invincible made. Sinclair, i think? Its been a while since ive watched Invincible sjdlj

Also French Tweek!! I've never seen that hc before but its sooo cute il est trop cute 🥹🥹🥹 ses ptits "bon" et "ouais" ACK TROP CUTE

AAAAAA BESTIE IM SO GLAD YOU LIKED THE CHARACTERISATIONS ♥️💞♥️💞 IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY TO HEAR !! Slight lore/backstory but: I honestly started shipping kenchole because of an instagram comic where the characters were life guards - they weren’t even together but they would help coach the kids swimming lessons !!! So from there the stars aligned and I wanted to like show their dynamic and like find links to interests and personality traits shshsh!!! Also YESYES Nichole and Kenny’s nerdy side will also be mentioned again because yes 🙌 !!

Okay so… YES!! THE MINIONS WERE HEAVILY INSPIRED BY DA SINCLAIR’S IM SO HAPPY SOMEONE GOT IT SHSHSV - I love Invincible so fucking much. It’s one of my favourite shows and I really wanted to take some aspects from the show like balancing normal life/saving the world and kicking ass. The next chapter will have this theme showing heavily!! I love superhero stuff and I always like the idea of the separation of home/work (crime fighting) and how it effects characters. The minions will be coming back, I will say that though 🫣🫣 (volta try not to explode over not giving spoilers challenge 100% fail)

This is related to my fic but I love using songs as like motifs throughout the story. LIKE SO FAR we have ‘Wanted’ by the Cranberries!!

The song in the context of the fic foreshadows some stuff in Kenny and Nichole’s relationship and a core problem they both face as a couple and it’s just AGH. They make me ill I love them.

The lyrics are angsty as hell but some of these highlight some CORE aspects of the plot which is so hard for me to not spill but take this as a little crumb for now!!
