Of course I had to build a Tickbalang to go along with my Zowort...
This is a relatively simple kit - kind of reminds me of the Guntank I built. There's several really big, chunky pieces that make up the bulk of this kit. But, unlike the Guntank, this thing feels very solid and it's got some fantastic little details and gimmicks.
I'd normally have some in-progress pictures of different sub-assemblies like arms or legs or whatever... But not with this build. There's not really a lot of sub-assemblies here.
So - this is what it looks like fully-assembled and without a lot of extra work. I used Gundam Markers for the lights/windows instead of the included foil stickers. And I did some panel-lining. But that's about it at this stage.
I didn't use any of the included foil stickers and picked up some G-Rework waterslide decals instead. But I only used about half of the decals... I didn't want the kit looking as busy as that example picture.
Getting the Zowort posed atop the Tickbalang was surprisingly tricky. I couldn't get the limbs to move/bend the way I wanted them to.
It's a very simple, solid kit. Like - the hull is just basically three pieces that snap together. But the end result is very satisfying. It looks good. And I like the little gimmicks like the landing gear and the handles and stuff.
And it obviously looks fantastic paired with the Zowort.
I'm thinking I'll probably want to build another of these... Either to pair with the Zowort heavy, or just to pose on its own.
Also - now I'm wanting to check out a Base Jabber kit, too. See if they're as good as this thing is.
