A couple things we love:
It looks like you don’t have to wait for a code just sign up for presale and then login.
NO DYNAMIC PRICING
May the odds be ever in your favor.

.
so i asked loads of people i know to sign up for UK presale codes and they either haven’t got them or never confirmed their email. If anyone has a UK code they won’t need, please hit me up 😩😩
I got Tuesday 4-5 is that good???
Why is my timeline so reminiscent of that Friends episode where Joey, Rachel and Phoebe tell the other three they can’t afford all these fancy things? and everything gets super awkward and weird for a while there.... Shall we all go see hootie and the blowfish guys and talk this one out?
I see Ticketm*ster has released the on sale times. Seeing AmEx VIP, other VIP, Platinum. I feel like my blood pressure is rising already.
Yep.
I’m glad you mention because it gives me a chance to remind folks:
Every part of this process is meant to be activating and keep you out of your most rational mind.
To get tickets you have to go through the following steps:
Sign up for a code. They remind you that codes are limited.
Get the code. Again, very few people get them.
Join the queue. They remind you how limited tickets are and how many people are in line.
Choose a ticket. The first 1-3 are almost always “a fan beat you to the ticket.”
This whole process is super activating to our nervous systems. And when a nervous system is activated most people lose access to their prefrontal cortex. Which is the part you need to make complex decisions.
Again, they are doing it on purpose. It is supposed to play on your FOMO like whoa.
What that means is that people are more likely to spend more money because they’re trying to be fast and acting out of fear.
I find just knowing this is helpful if only so I don’t feel broken somehow when my heart races.
Here’s my other advice:
Breathe. That sounds trite but is also true.
Look at the seating chart in advance and have a plan.
Set a budget. Know what you’re willing and able to spend.
Much luck to everyone.
re: non transferrable tickets- people can just send the screenshots of the entry QR codes to other people to show and get scanned for entry, as has been done at the non transferrable LTWT shows. No one is checking names at the door
Yeah, this doesn’t surprise me either. At an Arena there’s no way they can check. The only place they ever checked my ID was the Troubadour which held 500 people not 20,000.
Some companies are changing the tech though, so I’d watch out in the future.
About the tickets, can you please explain more about having a plan? I mean tickets will sell out in minutes. If I actually get through the que to the ticket buying part, will I actually have the option to be picky about seats? Or will it be a rush to just click next or whatever just to get any seats. I want good seats and I'm willing to pay more. If it gives me tickets, and I want better ones, would you even recommend looking for better ones or just quickly buy whatever TM spits out at me.
They no longer do best available. When you get in, you'll be on the seat map. You have to choose individual seats.
I usually start with the tickets I want and try for that. And I go by sections. So if I need to I go up rows in the sections I want.
They will sell out fast but that doesn't mean you have to take the first thing. But thinking about it in advance helps.
To me, the big question is pit or not because that determines a lot. Also having a ranking can be helpful if you want seats.
