Seats to Games 3 and 4 of the New York Knicks Round 4 NBA Playoffs championship now are fetching north of $3,000 and $4,000, respectively, per media reports.
Two spots courtside at Madison Square Garden, CNN states, are listing at $250,000 or approximately triple New Yorkers' median annual household income, based on Bureau of Labor Statistics data. Median household income in the 5 boroughs totals $85,900.
Ticket-gouged courtside seats for the NBA Playoffs hit a more usual ceiling at $50,000 up to $100,000, according to SeatGeek. Been a long time since the Knicks last played for the NBA championship and since the basketball ticket prices of 1999.
