Leila really didn't want to have to go to the sewers but there wasn't much of a choice. Cops and Cadmus workers had cornered her in an alley and there wasn't anywhere else to hide. Her head whipped around at a noise.
"Who's there?"
Crocs Rock!
Word was out. There was a new leader for the Croc Gang in Neo-Gotham. He had forced Sobek to actually confront an enemy of the gang, only to be stopped by Batman and another person. The leader was gone and de-spliced...but the gang was still very much active and aggressive.
"Boss!" yelled out Snapper. His injuries were doing much better now. While he didn't need the bandage wrap on his chest, he felt it was a sign of toughness. Plus he wanted to keep the other gang in suspense with how the scar actually looked. He walked away from a fight (even a one sided one) with Killer Croc. "The gang just got back from that last heist. I think it went good!"

Meeting The Monster
Lifting her boot out of the foul 'water' Rouge paused only to eye the material dripping off if with utter disgust before continuing on. It was times like this that she regretted not actually wearing proper clothing-her 'boots' were just her own substance manipulated into that shape and she could feel the faeces and other material sticking to them. But it didn't matter, she had been in contact with far worse in her long life and besides she had a job to do, she would however be showering particularly vigorously when she returned to the Brotherhood's base.
Moving through Gotham's sewers with an air of absolute confidence, she briefly re-activated her sense of smell to try and get a hint of where the beast was and instantly regretted it. The stench was overpowering and after a moment she shut that sense off, continuing on her way. It didn't matter, from what she knew of Killer Croc the beast probably already knew she was here and would come to her.
At least that was what she hoped, she refused to spend more than a few nights looking no matter what the Brain ordered.

"Goddammit Bats! That's the third time this week he's screwed up my teleport." She looked around. "Where the hell did I end up anyway?"

The eyes were white, glassy and sightless, yet somehow Mary was certain that they were staring straight at her. The body in the corner wouldn't usually bother her; she was used to it. It was more the way Croc stared at it, the look on his face unnerving her. She had heard rumours, but avoided the subject. "You gonna eat it?" she questioned finally, looking away.
