Hi!! I'm still very new to the alterhuman and therian/kin/etc community. I'd love to have some mutuals on this sideblog! Particularly would love mutuals of any of the following:

Whales of any kind!! I'm very connected to beaked whales (still unsure if it's -hearted or a past life?) but any cetacean community would be very cool :)

Selkies!! I'm a selkie! Seals in general also welcome, and merfolk or any aquatic fae

Wolves and dogs - one of my alters is a livestock guardian dog who feels very wolfish

Bears! I was a brown bear in a past life!

Any other autistic, queer, OSDDID-having therians and alterhumans

I'm so annoyed lmao I was writing up a post about my possible whale past life and feeling instinctively very connected to Antarctica. But I had to restart my laptop so the post got eaten. Anyway. Might be an orca after all since there's not a lot of toothed whales who live in Antarctic waters? Needs further investigation,

I really want to explore whatever my connection is with beaked whales... And honestly I've been thinking about forming an otherlink/copinglink with orcas. I've always thought they were cool, and there's a lot of orcas on here!

Notes about my being a selkie:

My current working belief is that one of my ancestors was a selkie. This ancestry was forgotten over the generations, but has been passed on, and has always been present within me. When I discovered my selkie nature, it reawakened that piece of my ancestral story. I've been getting started with ancestor work as part of my pagan practice, and I plan to do more with this specifically!

Things get a bit messy and complicated, because I believe that I am a selkie in this lifetime, but I also carry my selkie ancestor's memories to an extent. Not all of them of course, but enough to know. To find my way home.

I feel deeply tied to Scotland particularly, which is apparently a favorite place for UK seals haha. I think my seal appearance was (is?) a gray seal.

Alterhuman-related info:

Still new to the alterhuman community, still figuring out all of this stuff. Somewhere in the realm of therian/otherkin, otherhearted, -link. I’m probably just going to use kin as a general term, until I figure out what works best for me.

Alterhuman, but I view it as human plus other. I’m not entirely human but I am entirely animal.

One of my alters is a dog (and kinda canine in general) and might make their own sideblog. I was a grizzly bear in a past life.

Another alter (Saya) is a large feline. Their blog is @duskpantherine

Deeply connected to the ocean, in a beyond-human way. Definitely a selkie, possibly also a cetacean. Also have a deep connection to the Isle of Skye, still figuring out where that comes from.

My religious and spiritual beliefs are tied into my alterhumanity. I’m a pagan, animist, and Unitarian Universalist. I believe in reincarnation and past lives. If you’re interested, my pagan sideblog is @wildbramblepath
