Did you know? #Roosters perform a little dance called ‘tidbitting’ in which they make sounds (food calls) and move their head up and down, picking up and dropping a bit of food. Researchers have found that females prefer males that often perform #tidbitting and have larger, brighter combs on top of their heads. Join us tomorrow, Friday, May 20th, for a special event: "Night Before de Cluck" As part of #ExploritScience’s “Feathers in Your World” Community Science Project, we’ll feature hands-on feather activities and experiments. Visiting guests will explain tomorrow’s “Tour de Cluck”. Learn about the Davis Farm to School Program and the Farm to Fork healthy life choices. Meet some chickens and learn how to get started with “clucks” in your own backyard! 3pm-8pm, Friday, May 20, 2016 Explorit Science Center 3141 5th Street, Davis, CA (at Explorit Science Center)
