Guild Rules
Just some stuff to keep in mind to make sure everyone’s Tiddle experience is the tiddle-iest.
Be respectful: It’s a no-brainer, really--even if you disagree with someone, respect the person sitting behind that computer monitor. We’re all dots here (and some of us are more sensitive than others), so try to be nice m’kay?
No drama: Seriously, our leader and officers have a very low tolerance for people picking on others and stirring up trouble.
Pull your own weight: We’re here for each other to help out with quests, training, and general gaming know-how. There is no experience or cumulative level limit on this guild, but we ask that new players pull their own weight. We will help you, but we won’t carry you. Same goes to experienced players--don’t assume that a low-level character is a newbie.
Activity and hiatus: We don’t expect you to play every day, nor is it necessary to participate in every side game we’re in. People have lives outside of gaming and we try to be mindful of that. Being at least semi-active in Mabinogi (logging on at least once a week is preferable but not necessary, just so we know you’re okay) is what we ask, and absence that extends past two months will result in removal. You are more than welcome to rejoin. Also if you’re planning on going on hiatus, just let us know!
Mabi guild meetings: We’ll be hosting guild meetings every month on Mabinogi. Attendance is optional, as is wearing the guild robe while attending. (Though we encourage participation!) Time, date, and location pending as we wait to make the guild official! For those of you who opt not to attend meetings, there is a newsletter option where one of our staff sends you a note summarizing major highlights of the meeting. If you would like to be on the “mailing list” just let us know!
Infractions, depending on their severity, will get at least one warning before you’re kicked from the guild. Rules subject to change at the staff’s discretion.
FAQ
Q: who are you people even
A: Tiddles Guild, mofos! We're a group of friendly dots that hang out together and cause shenanigans on MMORPGs. The guild itself was first established (unofficially) on Mabinogi via Skype...something that a group of friends thought would be a fun thing to do. Then it kind of branched out from there.
Q: Why Tiddles?
A: When we were trying to figure out a name for our group, one of us suggested Tiddles since the dot over lower-case letters are ignored but vital parts of the alphabet. Which is what we are, in a sense. And the name stuck. no for serious we're just a bunch of silly gamers
Q: What's the Triforce of Tiddles?
A: The original three who started the guild: Seer, Fonzie, and Ghost.
Q: Do I have to be a Mabinogi/Minecraft/Unchained/etc. gamer in order to be a Tiddles member?
A: That's up to the staff's discretion. It would be cool if you could be part of our gaming community since this is, first and foremost, a gaming guild. A list of games our guild plays can be found in the Games We've Invaded section.
Q: Do I have to be a Tiddles member to follow this blog?
A: Not at all! If you're into the sort of stuff we reblog and post, you're welcome to follow.
Q: Can I join the staff?
A: We're not currently looking for new staff members.
Q: I have this great screenshot/video/story/etc. that I want to share on the blog! Can I submit it?
A: If you’re a Tiddle, sure! We try to keep the content uploaded by/for guild members.
