MINKS - Margot
New video for "Margot", a track taken from the brand new LP Tides End (released yesterday) which was inspired by frontman Sonny Kilfoyle's trip of escapism to the East End of Long Island. So the story goes, Sonny wandered onto a decaying beach-front estate that had belonged to the same family for generations, but once the family hit financial ruin, they were forced to sell all of their possessions. The singer himself bought a beautiful Roccoco painting, "Margot", which was the inspiration for this infectious track. With the background in mind, this track really begins to open itself up to you, it's a song of lost dreams, nostalgia and losing control. Produced alongside Mark Verbos, the band have immersed themselves in electro-pop, and we should dive in with them.
