A lot of people asked for pictures today! The best part about today is I walked in and one of the volunteers recognized me as Solar Lunacy. Then ANOTHER person came up and we all fanigirled about Solar Lunacy and the second person even gave me a sticker! If you haven't check out @bamsara Solar Lunacy!

First time wearing Tohru!! It was a lot of fun!

I had such a great time this weekend! My sister and I went as Sun and Moon to the Tidewater Comicon and we got to meet so many amazing people. We even competed in our first cosplay contest and won first place for the group category with our new cosplayer friend Vanny!

We were only able to go on Saturday and even if we wanted to go on Sunday we had car issues that morning ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm very pleased with my first attempt at EVA foam even though I didn't completely finish our cosplays (I didn't have time to make the bell shoes or hand gloves). I learned many things while making these. I learned how to sew pants (with functional pockets😁a necessity), I figured out how to sew the ruffled skirts and collars, I even learned how to make cinch bags to hold our stuff with fabric that matched our characters.
