A tiding of magpies: One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, four for a boy, five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret never to be told.

Draco terminalis—Tiding’s Dragons. Leathery scales, these scavengers tend more towards loose groupings than proper blazes. Though they use their fire to sanitize their food, their stomach acid is so notoriously caustic and is often used in batteries. They have particularly low language abilities, but good memories. Unlike most other dragon species, these scavengers rarely grow bigger than mastiffs, even if some of them are thousands of years old. Though fierce in food competition, these dragons have very little infighting regarding all other sources, rarely otherwise fighting, and, in all cases, virtually never to the death.
