Koumei left the war council behind him, pausing in the hallway as he considered what was next to do. There was the delegation from Sindria, which had arrived earlier that day. He considered meeting with them, but figured they would be tired from the long trip, and so left to go to his room instead.

On the way, however, Koumei saw Ja’far.

"Is breá liom tú~" Damien cooed, skipping ahead of his brother just a bit. "Alán!"

Devon huffed and kept a careful eye on the pathway around the younger and himself as he mumbled out a reply. "Shush tú. Féachaint ar an áit a bhfuil tú ag dul!"

"Mhm!!! Tá mé! Tá mé-" Damien was cut off as his brother grabbed his arm and pulled him back behind him, as if in warning.

Devon swore he could see a figure standing in front of one of the buildings in the distance, but the fog could've been messing with him. Still, he wasn't going to take chances when there was no one else around. He didn't need Damien getting hurt if he could help it.

"Devy, an bhfuil tú ceart go leor?"

Devon placed a finger to his lips in a signal of quietness before dragging his brother off to the side a bit. Maybe it was a statue and he was getting anxious for nothing.

    🔥 For a young soul there was certain for them to not understand and cause a scene.       Since day 1 Alibaba had seemed to develop a form of attachment and fondness with         unhealthy admiration for certain God and wished to follow in his footsteps and be          just like them. Hardly the case for he was different than most and his own bare                                          existence could revolve around both life and both death.

      A log is set ablaze as he stops by then attempts to kick it. It barely budges, hurts     his foot in process but managed to set it ablaze. Had he been paying attention could       understand why his case can be used for both good and bad; live and death, light         and dark. As for not putting it off and neglect it had set it on fire till the both it            burns to ashes. Easily making it fade into nothingness. Left to merciless                                             burn then have its ashes scattered by the wind.

       But the heat within air grow in temperature as for its light shone brighter than         before. Not that he was trying to mask his frustration but his abilities shone                                                       more light to it and alarm most around.

       “ Why do I need to train with him first before can with Sinbad? “ He huffs and       for a brief moment his pacing and fusing came to a halt. He had nothing against        Ja’far though if had to chose of course he’d pick the one he admired and found                                                       more charismatic and assume experienced.

Visits to Sindria were never Kouen’s favorite, it was much too hot for him at this time of year, but there was always one part of it that brightened his day.

Sindria’s Grand Vizier, the second most powerful person there, Ja’far.

Though androgynous in appearance, there were small things that showed her for what she was.

A lovely, overworked, and underappreciated woman. Yet her loyalties seemed unwavering, and he respected that.

Yet was there a chance....

So the night had come, the next morning they were to set sail to Aktia for a trade meeting. A small group had contacted them asking to establish trade with Sindria and it was in the duty to have a formal meeting for such a thing. Given that this was not dissimilar to how Sindria had started. At this point there were just a few small checks left to do. Given it was such a small meeting, unlike two countries meeting, there wasn’t going to be a huge ship leaving. Just Ja’far, Masrur and the King with a small round of men. 

The decision to be the ones to visit the trade group was made by Sinbad, travel was in his blood and to take the chance to browse and enjoy Aktia was a bonus. Despite certain political issues it wouldn’t be seen as wrong to visit. 

At the very moment, Sinbad was sat back in his chair, looking over the last papers and itinerary for the trip. He wanted to leave some space in the hold to bring some things back with him. It was quiet save for the crickets and light noise of the late evening hustle from the Kingdom during its night trade outside the open window to his right, having sent Ja’far off to supply him with some hot drinks to keep him up for now. Reclined, one arm rest on the arm of the chair, knuckles supporting his cheek while the other hand held the paper up somewhat from the desk for him to read over, documents that he wanted Ja’far to check over for him in turn, hence the chair beside him at his desk which wasn’t often brought out unless they were going to spend a good few hours together with this work.
