Heavy deep disco invasion! Black Pearl Record's Mudegg (Roskow Kretschmann & Tom Sky) deliver insight into their knowledge about and passion for disco-music. One complex and well arranged song full of musicality and a keen sense of groove make „At Light“ a bomb. Sello's raw and straight rework and Siggatunez' rolling Slo Mo Joint improve the fourth tieffrequent-release to a very diversified dance floor-filler and a very special piece of music.. The original version of „At Light“ starts with a developing discoid drum ensemble added by a typical synthesized disco-bassline. It rises to an undescribable sound atmosphere consisting of chord-, pad- and rhythm elements. Well dosed and accurate arranged and mixed „At Light“ flows into a never before known and heard break which builds the height of the song. In the end it finds back to where it started and leaves you behind with a big smile and a feeling of something ingenious. Sell's rework of “At Light” is a rough interpretation where the significant disco-loop from the great break was used as the main harmonic-melodic element. Flavoured with raw and particularly distorted drums Sello's reworks marks a straight “four to the floor” track which reveals his own style. Siggatunez' Slo Mo Joint is a slow rolling version which builds up, comes to an height and disappears to where it came from. In between there's a striking groove which is combined with chopped and newly composed piano chords and pads from the original. It gives a completely different atmosphere built upon a brilliant idea. “At Light” is a diverse journey through music and sound.
