The manual for an obscure Crash Bandicoot game for the Tiger Electronics 99x handheld series of systems. This was actually the third Crash game ever made, predating Warped by a smidgen, and the first to not be developed by Naughty Dog.
In this game, Crash takes a break from saving the world and goes on a treasure hunt in a haunted mansion. Apparently, the mansion was owned by a selfish old miser named Mr. Crumb, who upon his death summoned an army of the undead to guard his riches. Mr. Crumb himself still haunts the mansion as a ghost.
Yes, folks, Crash Bandicoot has faced zombies and ghosts before, and he has never done so since this game’s release. Personally, I would love if this game was remade for modern consoles, particularly because it’s so different than what people are used to for Crash games. Yes, I realize Crash purists don’t like “different”, but Crash facing an army of the undead is too cool an idea to pass up.
