🤝 diego and thirteen

texts the other at 3 am: Once she figures out how to, Thirteen. All the time. With lots of emojis. Along with another couple texts to apologize about the time once she realizes how late it is. 

tries to convince the other to do an idea that definitely sounds questionable: Both of them but for different things. Thirteen has such a skewed view of what’s ‘questionable’ and those things are usually…. really normal things, and Diego tries to convince her to do them. Thirteen, meanwhile, tries to convince Diego to do things more like impromptu jumping into a lake or spontaneous tree climbing or whatever. 

is the designated driver and who always gets wasted: Eh, not applicable for them. 

always has to host the impromptu sleepover: Diego hosts, and Thirteen gladly accepts and curls up on his couch. Or under the coffee table with a blanket draped over it like a little cave. 

who’s netflix account gets mooched off of: Diego’s, and once Thirteen discovers Netflix she thinks it’s super fun and can bingewatch like nobody’s business. 

brings all the snacks and who supplies the movie: Diego brings all the snacks (which is better for both of their respective dietary restrictions), and he lets Thirteen pick the movie. (Which fairly often results in terrible movie choices from her because she picks based off the title and what the cover looks like.) 

is usually the first one to say sorry after a fight: Thirteen apologizes a lot, and Diego usually tells her not to be sorry. He’s good at apologizing when he was wrong, too, and Thirteen doesn’t understand the first time he says sorry to her. 

is the ‘ mom friend ‘: Diego. He’s more like her tiger bro than mom friend, though. 

calls the other at 12 am to wish the other a happy birthday without fail: Neither of them. Diego does, however, help Thirteen pick a day to be her birthday and then buys her an ice cream cake with candles on it and takes her swimming. 

is the better wingman to the other: Neither. Diego knows Thirteen doesn’t need a wingman, and Thirteen wouldn’t know how to be one. 

pulls the other up for karaoke to sing a duet together: Thirteen! Once she figures out what karaoke is and that she’s good at it (thanks Mick) she thinks it’s super fun and drags Diego up to do it with her.
