Well my name is Zoey and it’s because of the novel “Franny and Zooey” by J.D. Salinger and my dad wanted it to be spelled Zooey and my mom wanted to spell it Zoe but they hadn’t decided by the time my mom went into labor because my mom had a “gut feeling” i was a boy and my name would be Ben (from star wars of course) but when the doctor who delivered me asked what my name would be if I was a girl they said “Zoe/Zooey” and the doctor was foreign and he was like wtf you cant spell that name like that it has to be Z-O-E-Y and my mom was in labor and they were like dude shut up and he was like NO Z-O-E IS JUST ZO AND Z-O-O-E-Y MAKES AN OOOH NOISE DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO CALL HER ZOOOOOEY? and my mom was like WILL YOU DELIVER THIS DAMN CHILD IF WE SPELL IT Z-O-E-Y?! and yeah thats how that happened.
