A small shake of the head allowed a few loose locks to fall in her face, but they were soon tucked safely back behind her right ear as a tiny grin began making its way against the soft features of her face. How Adam always seemed to be able to put a positive spin on things was still a complete and utter mystery to his girlfriend, but it was also a part of him she hoped he would never ever lose. "I guess I just can't help but wonder how you do it. It's like no matter how many times I mess up and make stupid, selfish choices, you refuse to give up on me. You always know how to make it better, but what if one day you wake up and realize you just don't want to anymore? I don't want to be the reason that bright light inside of you suddenly darkens."

Dinah remembered specifically with a possible "threat” to Oliver’s life on her end for him to destroy the footage he claimed to have on her. “Oh, that’s real funny, Ollie. You promised me you would wipe the data clean once you archived everything except.. the footage you had on me. A promise which was meant to extend on any back up copies. If I remember correctly, you were supposed to destroy it. Besides, I doubt the Robin Hood and his band of merry eyes are linked inside to any convenience stores.” Wanna make a bet on that? No, she absolutely did not want to make any bets. This was Oliver, after all. “If you wipe the smirk off your face, I will tell you what happened. In detail.”

Once again, Michael couldn't read the subtext. She supposed she just expected too much from him. "Nevermind." It wasn't as though she could explain what she was thinking, and even if she did, he wouldn't understand. "It's fine. Goodnight, Michael." She said, softly before opening the door of the car and stepping out into the fresh air.

It was a rare moment, but both Clark & Lois had a day off together. Practically a miracle, especially with Perry on their tails about chasing down a case.

Family Friday is what Clark deemed it, with Jonathan in a stroller, Krypto on a leash, and a picnic basket in hand, the four were headed for the park for an afternoon in the sun. “We packed food for Kypto, right hun?” Clark asked, looking to his wife as she pushed Jonathan along.

“so what if it is?” michael’s impatient, his lips pressed together stubbornly. “whatever it is, the Granolith is meant for us. it’s from the same place we’re from.” plus, anything has to be better than being here, on earth. while this rock seemed to be perfectly pleasant for max and isabel, for michael it’s all wrong. he’s never belonged. arms cross over his chest and he contends to look clear over liz’s head, avoid’s catching her eye. the only other thing tying him to this place is her. the totally weird and unlikely bond forged between them flares hesitance in his usual do-now, think-later approach. “look, don’t worry, okay? if max wants to stay on this shitty planet, that’s his prerogative. i’m going by myself, so you don’t have anything to lose.”

just another dental checkup, only this time with a new dentist. once he got the letter that his former retired and closed his practice, he started to search for a new one. then olivia got a toothache, so let made him settle on a doctor adam walker. the man did have extraordinary positive reviews so that was enough for the pediatric surgeon. it was a man around his age too, which honestly was good so they could stick with him for years to come. 

olivia, who in the past, was always difficult in the chair actually did pretty well - despite finding out she had a large cavity on a molar that needed a filling. braces might even be a thing in the near future for the pre-teen. much to her dismay. 

when it was his turn he finds out he had a small one on an incisor. appointments for the fillings were made, and Jonathan shakes the man's hand, smiling. after getting off the chair.   ❝  ———— thanks for taking good care of us, doctor walker. especially Olivia. normally she's terrified of dentist appointments. maybe a new leaf has been turned. ❞

Is he in talks though? Last article I read he was open to it but wasnt approached yet

I read that about being open a few days ago, then the other day I saw it say they were talking. So IDk but I hope they are because it’d be cool to get a different version of Oliver as well since we have three Superman/Clarks and who know how many versions of Flash...
