"8 Ways to Say I Love You", questions 4 and 5, please :-)

oh, wow, that is a throw back. okay, lets see

4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?So, the only actually dialogue in the fic is ‘I love you’ and ‘I love you too, Claudia’ but I think this is one of my favorite lines:

You can smell the flour and butter from the cookies in the oven as she brings her hand to your cheek.  You can see the swirls and rhythms in her eyes, and wonder if that is what she sees all the time.

5: What part was hardest to write?I don’t actually remember, tbh. It’s closing in on four years since I wrote that fic.

I would go for a tour of the oval office. Maybe I’d get to meet the PRESIDENT :D

10. What was your favorite TV show growing up?

I’m gunna go way back, cause this stuff changes, right?  Well, back as a toddler, my fav was the Telletubbies.

62. Would you go skydiving?

This is tricky, actually, cause my first thought is, yes, absolutely, but, I am susceptible to pressure changes, and have nearly lost consciousness on some roller coasters.  So, I may have to say no for my own safety and the safety of the person I would be strapped to.

92. If you had to teach an academic subject, what subject would you want to teach?

Creative Writing, and preferable to older students.

Yeah, safety, but also like, self preservation, cause I’m not about to have to call for a family member to release me the same way I would if there’s no toilet paper.

I also have small wrists, and most of the "standard" sized cuffs fasten down that tight on me as well. It's normal. If you ever buy cuffs from a place with sizing options, it's usually better to go with the smaller option. And if you ever want to *really* splurge, custom made cuffs can be good too. But those tend to be a lot more expensive to get...fun to shop for with a partner though :-)

I will definitely have to keep that in mind.

I’m mostly gunna be using these as ankle restraints, cause I’m not about to restrain my arms when I’m alone, but when i get to the point with someone  where we may be buying another set, a smaller set will probably be a good idea.

I read that POS article too because someone on Facebook posted it. And I thought "shouldn't marriage be about compromise and not treating the other person shittily and maybe being courteous enough to put your clothes in the damn laundry basket?" and then I realized who I'd be talking to and went away to angrily do things for a little while until I was calmer.

I also had some thoughts about using their lingo against them and being all "if a wife must be submissive to her husband as to Christ and he's supposed to be emulating the Lord, then the question to ask here is: would Jesus leave his clothes all over the damn place?" But I already have a reputation on my Facebook for sarcastic WWJD comments, so i refrained, just this once.

I brought it up to my sisters in a group message, and they were just ‘you don’t understand, did you even read the article, it’s about appreciating what you have because you can lose it, and learning to not sweat the small stuff’.

I just asked them how the men showed them that they were appreciated.  neither responded to that.

Yeah.  I hate how people bring up compromise, but it seems that so often in w/m relationships, it ends up being the woman compromising everything because the man wont budge.
