THATS RIGHT! 3 years ago today (April 4th) I created rollay! I didn’t expect it to be a major thing but it ended up becoming just that lol. I’m very happy that so many people in the unwind community have recognized and liked the ship, it just makes me happy :)

UnaxWil and RolandxLayton for National Day of Truth and Reconciliation
Today we remember and honour those who were torn from their families, forced into Residential Schools and lost their culture or their lives. Over the course of 150+ years, 150,000 First Nations, Métis and Inuit children attended these schools with many never returning back home. These schools prohibited speaking native languages and doing traditional activities, forcing children to learn English, cut their hair and assimilate their culture. This was to “Kill the Indian in the child.” The last school closed in 1996 but the actions of these schools have lingered for generations to come.
We are strong. They’ve tried to assimilate us but we stood our ground and pushed through. They tried to erase our culture but we’re still passing down our traditions. They tried getting rid of us but we’re still here and here we’ll stay.
Remember, Every Child Matters.
