the story so far:
blair was born in vancouver, canada in 1996. from a young age she was very competitive, she would play fight with kids on the playground, join sports teams even if she didn’t know how to play & enter talent shows. she was very studious in highschool & had a perfect balance of school and sports. they didn’t do anything too out of line because she wanted to make sure she got into the school of her dreams. a scout came to watch her last volleyball game in highschool and offered her a full ride scholarship.
by the time she made it to college her sights were set on exactly what she wanted to do, and no one would be able to get in her way, right? but this was her first time fully being alone, away from her parents in a place that she knew no one, so she decided to take advantage of that. she was partying, sleeping with any person she made eye contact with for 0.5 seconds, just basically living first school second, this was her time to get it out. she felt like a brand new person, and definitely acted like one too, just having that ‘i don’t give a fuck’ attitude, getting in fights, doing drugs, hooking up, meanwhile paying people to do her homework for her, yet still showing u for her tests, exams & volleyball games.
in the beginning of her third year, her grades were slipping and it was getting harder and harder for her to balance everything & there was a chance she would lose her scholarship, she couldn’t let go of her partying ways easily, so she figured out a way to balance sports, studying & smirnoff, without getting herself in too much trouble and actually doing the work she was asked for once.

eventually his family got tired of seeing him ruin his life and sent him to rehab when he was 17 & when he was able to go home he moved in with his mom who helped him clean up his image, and she really inspired him to get his life together & get back into soccer and music

silas kingston is pretty much the sidekick to any rich villain in a nineties rom-com come to life. the one that’s just as wealthy, just as much of a douchebag, but too dumb to be the leader of the gang, and more interested in partying than in playing weird mind games
the rumor that the only reason he’s able to attend the university is because of his family’s donations definitely has some truth to it - something that’s pretty apparent to anyone who interacts with silas for more than a few minutes, and realizes that he’s not exactly the brightest. when he actually does show up to class, it’s usually in a hungover state, and more often than not he does nothing but disrupt his fellow classmates.
due to being raised as a spoiled brat, the concept of not immediately getting whatever he wants isn’t something he’s used to. he goes through life just doing whatever will bring him the most pleasure, and consequences aren’t something he really worries about.
as the middle child, he sometimes feels like he doesn’t get quite as much attention as his older brother (the golden child) or his little sister (the baby of the family), but he’s always just used that to his advantage, taking it as an opportunity to just get away with whatever he wanted to do. he knows that there’s no pressure for him to take over his dad’s company once he retires, since chandler will be doing that for him, and he’s looking forward to continuing his life of luxury post graduation.

eloise is the embodiment of a queen bee . for ref i based off regina from mean girls & courntey from total drama lmao . she wants it all & will get it no matter what . she wants to be successful in her own right . a lot of her goals just come from her upbringing . also i will be switching between they & she pronouns for ellie bc they id as genderfluid !
their parents are 2 successful lawyers , but honestly , they were born into money and didnt really have to work a day in their lives . ellie’s parents were always extremely conscious of their reputation , and always made sure to appear as a picture perfect family , even if behind the scenes , the 2 lawyers were deeply struggling with their marriage . divorce wasn’t seen as an option for them though . so they stayed together , they slept in different rooms and saw other people on the down low . and when they were seen in public together , they played the part of a perfect married couple with two perfect kids .
