Re: Suli being a do no harm take no shit kind of individual. It made me think of this specific ad. I don't know what comic issue it's from, and it was super difficult to track down after I saw it once and then lost it. I think it's like one of the few depictions of Suli.
It's funny how the artist drew Tiggra looking kinda chill and smiling while Suli looks a little angry and has a knife. And also I love Suli's mullet (?).
Darkseid: let me see what you have
I think he and Suli had the (Will Smith pose at each other) kinda dynamic.
Yes yes yes good excellent. This is so good. Even though Suli is considered "soft" by Queen Heggra's standards, it then leads me wondering how Suli survived on Apokolips this long well into adulthood? If she was weak, she should've been dead by now. I wish more was written about Suli, but with the little we got she's obviously smart. She may not be physically imposing, BUT she's sharp enough, hell even CONFIDENT ENOUGH, to stay kind on a planet that's survival of the fittest. Don't get it twisted, I doubt Suli would let anyone disrespect her. I'm sure folks have tried to take advantage of her throughout her life, but Suli's stayed one step ahead.
And yes ABSOLUTELY they did! I think Suli just hit different for Darkseid, I imagine they were very much alike to hit it off so well. They're both very smart individuals that are capable of being steps ahead of everyone else. I think Suli was able to show Darkseid that there could be better ways to do things on Apokolips. I can only imagine the impact Suli would have had on Darkseid if she had lived. Especially since Darkseid was willing to go behind Heggra's back to marry Suli and have a child with her.
That was rebellious of Darkseid! That was fucking BOLD! And I bet Queen Heggra hated that about Suli. How can someone so "weak" convince her son to act in such a way? SO. Heggra decides to find the exact opposite of Suli, which leads us to Tiggra. I wish we learned more about Tiggra, too!
