#tight grain

2 1/4 inch thick Douglas fir.  This was originally the tanks that were used to make corn syrup. The pieces were disassembled, planed and straight edged. 6s and 8s, all 2 1/4" thick. Nice straight grained fir, zero or very few knots. Grain is extremely tight and dense. Excellent table top material. Approx 1000 bd ft available.

Unpainted beaded board. Wainscoting. Very nice unpainted yellow pine beaded board. Sometimes called wainscot or wainscoting. This stuff is always really nice source material. The pine has tight grain and good color, lots of reds and yellow.
