Update #11 on the Homestuck dubbing of This Is Halloween

So we still need more people for this project! Currently all the characters left are male, but that does not stop any of you from auditioning! All try outs will be considered.

Just a question about the Halloween dub, if a person can voice a character really well, but cant sing as them. Would it still be fine to audition?? Also, because I'm just being kind of ditzy, and its pretty late for me, where should we send auditions to? And can they just be some miscellaneous lines?

Well, this dub is a song, but This Is Halloween isn’t a super “you-need-tons-a-talent” kind of song. As long as you can hit the tunes right and make it sound decent, it shouldn’t be that hard for me to consider. As for the lines, you can read anything you want. I’d recommend pesterlogs, but feel free to read off of anything you wish.Publishing in case people need to know this.

Update #4 on the Homestuck dubbing of This Is Halloween

There are still a lot of characters that need to be cast for this group! Please, if you know someone who can sing and is into Homestuck, urge them to try out as well!

First off, I'm not the best voice actress, but people have told me my Dave, Nepeta, Sollux, and Karkat are the best. So if I do audition I will be using those. Would you like those in different audio files or a singular one? Also, would I simply begin recording? Or have an introduction? How do you want the files named? And I'm not sure how great of a mic I have but I will try.

These are great questions and I’ll add the answers to the doc.

I would like them to be seperate files, please. And introductions can be typed out in the e-mail, I’d like to hear the acting straight away, and as for the file names, I’d prefer if you put your tumblr name underscore your character. For you it’d be “nepetaoncatnip_dave"
