                   “   i don’t understand-- isn’t it, aren’t there sayings about what it means when you start to see ghosts and demons and gods???   ”     —–  it’s not something that she needs to worry about for a long time, if not ever, but the idea of it is enough to fluster her into thinking that the city’s entities are a bad omen for the future. there’s no premonition of death on her behalf, no fear for her life, but she still throws herself in a frenzy on behalf of the humans who do.

     the stories for her songs, rumors passed by retellings from staff, even her own personal experiences with the supernatural, all have left a lasting impression on her to the extent where she doesn’t know how she herself should react. but the city’s frequent hauntings, additions, and dismissals from folklore monsters: those dig deep into her memory and spark fires of unease. 

     gakupo did tell her that it was only time before she was caught, too.

i’d say a 7/8, he’s kind of out of it. he hasn’t had real life encounters with fantastical creatures outside of things from the tv world. and aside from video games and movies, he doesn’t know the slightest thing about medieval technology and lifestyles. like the hell is a loom? don’t tell me you have to make your own yarn from sheep’s wool too?!? scratch that, he actually enjoys sheering sheep and playing with farm animals. kanji’s not exactly an adapter but he’ll find ways to entertain himself.

Well, since he had stopped in the kingdom of Xalphina, might as well get some books for him and Alucard to enjoy. And of course, for Sypha as well since he had located her within their aligned kingdom. It was like their lives hadn’t been interrupted - saved for Richter’s newly found bloodlust and people wanting to kill you, but to be fair, that last part isn’t really anything new to a Belmont.

Richter thumbed through the collection of books, landing right on one about astrology. Alucard had enjoyed the astronomy book he had gotten him back during Christmas, so maybe he would enjoy an astronomy book as well. Cerulean eyes gazed outside of the window, watching clouds pass by as the sky changed to signify that daylight was ending soon.

     “I wonder if the stars are different here from back in      the city...”

  Should he be staring directly towards these leylines? That's yet to be seen, but Cyrus finds himself entranced by the sight provided as night takes over the sky. With how much light is provided from these pools and the lines branching out across the stone, it may as well act as a second sun. While sticking his hand into it would give him experience, he isn't willing to risk his health on a gamble like this.

  Standing up straight, he scans those still outside at this hour and picks his target. His approach is far-removed from subtle, the heel on his shoe giving warning to his approach.

Comfortable, especially right after the events of his challenge. He enjoys the fantasy-setting much better than the other one, being from one himself originally. But Ivan’s not at rest until he knows what exactly happened and the tree at the center keeps grabbing his attention as he’s unable to forget his link to the Fantasy Tree of his own world. To him it’s just a curtain-swap in a prison-cell to a color he prefers.

Though, he feels for those who were forced against their will into becoming something inhuman so despite preferring this, he would give it up if it meant he could undo that.
