Ofcourse the headline is Till having a laugh at the end of the interview (typically that the author chose it as headline), but still some nice tidbits, like his mom listening to music by Vladimir Vysotsky 💜 His parents were both very culturally interested, ofcourse as a kid he wouldn't always be interested (what kid likes everything there parents like), but i think that fave him a very broad start in getting as well-read as he is 🍀

Till: I certainly haven’t seen them. Richard always says that my lyrics sound childish but wise at the same time. I’m really like a big child - mischievous, but harmless. People always think I'm strong and tough. But I’m not. I am sensitive and easily hurt - and when in love, romantic and passionate.

Till: Your guitarist Richard hinted that the album, which everyone has been waiting for so long, will be the last album. Is that true?

Till: "I don't think it's the last album. We've worked so hard, we've got so much music, so many songs, that we're actually ready for the next album. And, of course, we won't be able to give it up for nothing. But imagine, we haven't released an album in ten years. We performed a lot and that's why we left the studio work. And when you're not in the studio for a long time, it's not easy to get back together. We've been working on this new album for the last three years, and we have to get used to it all again. Of course, when people get tired of working, they say, "All right, that's it! So I know exactly what Richard meant. After three years of hard work, the man is simply tired."

Till on joining Rammstein.

Until 1993, the guys played in different Berlin groups, such as Feeling B or The Inchtabokatables. I wove baskets in Schwerin and sometimes from time to time drummed in different punk bands. Richard is my old friend. My voice inspired him. I always sang loudly at work, and he listened to it for several hours. One day he brought a cassette of new, heavyweight songs and made me sing along. At first I was stubborn because I did not want to go to Berlin. Bravo: But still you went to Berlin ... Till: Yes, Richard persuaded me for three days in a row. And in the end convinced me. In the apartment, which he then shared with Schneider, we recorded the first demos. I had to sing under a blanket, as my voice woke the neighbors. The three of us formed the backbone of the group.
