I'm not saying that last chapter wasn't amazing but YOU COULD HAVE WARNED US! I have a soft heart for these two, I need them happy, you know that. (i have a soft heart for you too, so I'm sending you hugs and kisses. But still.)

Actually chapter 14 will be a turning point...it’s going to start going either one way or the other, so hang in there, things will move fast from next Sunday :D

Thank you so much darling!  Maybe I do tend to go a bit mushy when I’m sick lol…ah well, it worked out good for Molly and King, but I’m going to decline to stay sick all the way through the end of the story just so they can have smooth sailing ;)  If it’s down to a tossup between this stomach flu and them getting a reprieve from the angst, I’m afraid I’m going to have to apologize and tell them to put their helmets on :P

Know your characters kinda game : between Chem!Tom and Loki, who is the more likely to stop midway to pee on everything?

Are we talking about wolf form, or man form?  Obviously Chem!Tom can’t shapeshift (omg Anja and most of San Diego would be in so much trouble if he could) - so if that’s the criteria, Loki has to win by default.  And he’d be hiking his leg on everything in sight, because he’s rude that way.

In their man forms though, it’s a difficult contest to judge.  Chem!Tom isn’t afraid to whip it out, and he’s been known to just turn his back to the group and answer the call of nature (though for the most part he’ll respect the presence of ladies who might not want to see what he’s packing).  Unless he’s drunk.  If he’s drunk, all bets are off, and you better watch your shoes.

Loki is probably a bit more cultured and, being brought up in the royal household, his manners would be much more gentlemanly - usually.  But when nobody’s looking, I doubt he’d make his magical staff wait to get to the mens room.  And again, if copious amounts of inebrients are involved, forget it...and learn to sidestep, fast, because he’s a mean giggling drunk.

Loki and Jack aren't being neglected : I'm rereading their story every 2 days to keep them company.

I’m neglecting them though - I haven’t been writing for them near as much as I should because some cranky Scotsman has been monopolizing so much of my writing time for the last three months.  It’s time to give them their slot back :)

I can't tell if Sgaile Leannan is gonna end up being a happy story or a sad one and it's killing me. (But I know you're a softy, so I'm gonna go with that). Meanwhile, I love it!

Lets take a look at my happy ending track record while we’re on this subject, why don’t we?  I’ve been meaning to do this for a while and now seems like a good time, since I have some readers who are displaying some serious signs of PCSS (Post Chapter Stress Syndrome).

Of all my completed works, so far we’ve got the following:

(under the cut because *obviously* spoilers for more than a dozen of my completed fics...not to mention really cringe-worthily described storylines)

Sgaile Leannan - two people who hate each other inflict angst and emotional torture on one another for several weeks, ultimately ending up (hopefully) happy as one commits the stress-level equivalent of brushing his teeth with a cheese grater just to see the other one one more time.  Happy ending leading to a sequel.

The Wolf King - a wild chase across the cosmos ends up with Loki and Thor pulling a Bill & Ted against the wishes and better judgment of literally everyone in the galaxy to get Loki’s kid into bed with Chem!Tom’s hot daughter. Happy endings all around, except maybe for Chem!Tom, who is now out of condoms.

Sanguine - emotional turmoil and cruel mind tricks following hot on the tail of uncontrolled lust and brutal murder, resulting ultimately in forgiveness and eternal love and an out of control offspring to mark the special occasion.  Happy ending leading to an unhinged sequel.

The King’s Heart - insanity, cruelty, abuse, and practical jokes played on the entire kingdom by an unhinged ruler saddled with a wife he can’t stand, barreling uncontrollably toward war and - *gasp!* - true love.  Happy ending for everybody except maybe Thor, who has to babysit the newly redeemed king’s kid in the sequel.

Lost Creatures - siblings play mind games and tease each other into a sexually frustrated frenzy over the course of several thousand years until finally the biggest dickhead of the two begrudgingly confesses to being a whiny bitch that’s always loved the lesser dickhead.  Happy ending, I suppose…Thor’s smiling at the end so I guess that counts.

Body Double - first-world celebrity problems and emotional hangups conspire to throw shit at a newly married couple like chimps chasing off a hyena until they finally realize Hey! Love conquers all in spite of it!  Happy ending in the extreme.

Penumbraluna - reprobate juvenile delinquent with rough past terrorizes good-hearted dumb jock until his mom adopts him.  Totally happy ending leading to a big-ass sequel.

Wolfsbane - assassins assassinate the shit out of each other, except they don’t and run off to Acapulco together instead.  Ends with a blowjob while one party is on the phone with their boss reporting the death of the one giving the blowjob. Bigtime happy ending because, ya know, not dead and blowjobs.

See You After The Apocalypse - zombies fuck up a perfectly happy couple’s life. Happy ending anyway.

The Tempest Series (11 parts) - poor behavior choices on Loki’s part lead to rough sex with a woman who seems just as sexually unhinged as him while various members of the Avengers watch them get their rocks off with each other. Ridiculously happy ending.

Whisper - intense psychological terror and abuse that ends up with old fart Loki inventing miracle drugs out of his herb garden with his grandkids.  Happy - though admittedly teary - ending.

The Dragon Queen - okay, this one throws a wrench into the whole thing. Criminal couple beat the shit out of each other on a daily basis while Odin giggles gleefully on the throne upstairs.  Happy ending of sorts, with a big dramatic escape and freedom at last, though there’s a bittersweet twist to it that ostensibly takes it out of the “truly happy” category. I’ll own it.  Quasi-happy ending.

Smooth Criminal -  demigod with exceptionally good taste in suits plans world domination, fails, acquires girlfriend instead.  Happy ending and a sequel.

So…based on these facts, I’d say you’re generally safe in assuming that no matter how dark, how sad, how angsty, or how ridiculously unlikely a story is to have a happy ending, you’re probably going to get one anyway.  

Of course, I do like to surprise my readers…

Glenda obviously like girls, that's not even a question! (and be cautious saying she's not a major character enough, we've seen you develop characters backstories out of nowhere before... *cough*litteraly every fic of yours*cough*) I'm just sayin'... <3

I’m gonna give you that one, mainly because Kady from Chemical is about to have a sidestory when she was only ever meant to be a source of jealous conflict for Anja’s relationship with Tom.  Hell, I even wrote her out of the story by sending her off to London because I had no interest in developing her as a character.  And now not only has she popped up as a plot furtherance device in an unrelated story, she’s -
