My opinion in three sentences:
I’ve read better from Bowler, and in that sense I was a little disappointed by Night Runner. The characters were not among the strongest I’ve encountered, and the writing only good at best, but it kept momentum through the plot and was largely acceptable for a middle-grade read. Readable, but the plot is its strength, and that is convenient and rather fast paced in places.
I found a book that I’ve been looking for forever! It’s called Frozen Fire by Tim Bowler and it’s one of the first books from the library that I had read when I moved here and I loved it. I ordered it from BookOutlet and it can’t get here soon enough.
