Choice

Power of Grace

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them - yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Grace is part of the Christian faith that made Paul the man he was in his letters. When he wrote about being transformed, it was the grace of God that made that transformation. For me, I was in the same boat. I was an ungrateful, shallow and crude person. If I never became transformed by God's grace, I cannot image the man I would have become today.

Thankfully I accepted God's grace and only through God's grace I am the man I am today. God's grace has the ability to change the worst into the best. We should never give up on people in our life because the grace of God is that powerful.

Heavenly Father, thank you for your transforming power of Your grace. Amen

A Christian Has Love

We know it so well, we’ve embraced it heart and soul, this love that comes from God. God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us.

Having love for others is a sign of the Holy Spirit. I can make that claim because it is the most important characteristics of God. Since the Holy Spirit is God in us, than it is evident to others.

Unfortunately, many people who claim to be a Christian, instead of showing love to others, take up hateful stances. When love is absent, so is grace and mercy. I cannot say if a person is a Christian or not, only God can make that judgment call. But I can say if a person lacks love, and if the Bible is true, then God cannot live in them. Love is that significant.

Heavenly Father, search my heart and if I am lacking love toward others, guide me away from hate. Amen
