New download release: Islands

[First personal blogging in two months! I've been really busy and hope to write more entries again soon. Meanwhile, here's some good news and some very good music.]

I recently programmed drums and percussions for a new single by Lee Fletcher, Lisa Fletcher and Markus Reuter (for whom I also did a remix a couple of months ago). It's a cover version of Mike Oldfield's "Islands" and it's just been released on Lee's Bandcamp page yesterday. You can stream it for free or purchase it in high resolution for £0.95 - "less than the cheapest cup of coffee", as Lee says.

I think the arrangement and production is just stunningly beautiful and I'm happy I got a chance to apply my generative programming approach in a pop context. Hope to do that much more in the future.
