When he woke up Danny was confused. He didn't have the habit of sleeping while standing. As he tried to take a step forward his feet buckled underneath him, as if he had never walked before. He fell to his knees.

Danny grabbed the nearest object to get up again. The tube that he used as help, was the size of an adult sized human, it was glowing lightly, with clothes floating inside. That was when he noticed he was naked. Still his mind was quite groggy, so he slowly stood up and tried to get the clothes inside the tube. He looked around a bit and found a fingerpad-scanner. He put his finger on it and it opened.

After dressing himself in the blue jeans and black t-shirt with a red symbol on it, Danny was a little bit confused, the clothes were a bit big on him, no matter. As his mind slowly became clear he looked around the room. He didnt recognize it, but all the tubes with some kind of fluid including the tube he came out of (it had the same fluid), reminded him of Vlad's cloning lab.

The question formed in his head before he could think further. Am I a clone? But whose?

As thanks for being "birthed", Danny wrote his own view on why Red Robin's cloning of Superboy hadn't worked. He wrote a small side note what he did wrong with his human clone too. Since if Danny hadn't woken up inside this body, it may have lived for a short while but as was his current dilemma, it would have soon died. He thought about writing down how to correctly clone someone, but then again, he didn't know Red Robin personally, so better not give him the power to clone someone.

Now it was time to theoretically create pure ectoplasm. With the data on the computer Danny soon had a possible solution, now he just had to find the beakers, tubes, and everything else he needed, especially Lazarus Water.

He found everything he needed, except the Lazarus Water, that was hard to find. Danny did find it in the end though, it was in a quite hidden compartment. He spent hours to find it.

Now mad scientist time.

After some more rummaging, Danny found another tape, in the most peculious locations, a vent nearby, there was even a can of a drink with the words "Zesti" written across it, weird.

Danny took the casette but left the soda can behind. He sat back into the office armchair, pulled his knees up and pushed the play button. This time, the voice was even more frazzled.

"If you wake up, I'm sure you'll find this recordning. You are my clone." - Danny knew it, there was even a costume in the sleeping room. - "The disk is connected to me, there are my memories, -", static continued, but Danny could hear it in the voice, they were on their wits end and maybe starting in histeria, probably made this recording, just to get it out of his mind. It soon continued, with a password for the computer, so to get the info on how to be able to infuse/access the memories of the disk. The recording ended soon and due to this sentence, Danny knew that Red Robin did not believe his own clone would be a success. - "I don't know why I'm even making this recording, you'll probably never wake up."

Welp, that was depressing, but in favor of having a code to access the computer, Danny shoved that info far away.

While walking around trying to get used to his "new" legs, Danny came across a computer. In the reflection of the turned off screen, Danny saw his face for the first time. He looked like a teenager. Additionally, that was not his face!

As he continued to marvel at this new face of his the screen jumped to life in front of him.

Instinctually, Danny tried to use his ectoplasm to get inside, when something made him stop. Why cant he gather ectoplasm?

He took a few steps back from the electronics, then tried to use some of his powers. He could still fly or better said float a little right now. He tried turning intangible and invisible and that also worked, but he could not access his other powers. As panic began to rose within him, his inner Jazz helped him calm down. Right he was a clone apparently, time to find out whose.

After feeling himself fit enough to go out, and also building himself a phone out of Red Robin's materials, Danny listened for any movement in the building above him. No one was there perfect.

Using his intangibility and flight, Danny went upstairs. When he was in the main room, he put his feet back on the ground and searched around. Soon he found an area with a bigger computer and additional equipment, there was even a device to create a good suit/costume with materials like kevlar. After looking around, Danny found enough material for the 3D Printer Device to create seven outfits, now for himself he decided he should make three.

One outfit to infiltrate, he based it on the pictures of the League of Assassins' unifrom, but with also some rememberance to his time as a ninja when he chased Vlad through time years ago. Memories.

The second outfit would be a more casual one, for everyday wear, of course he also keeps the Superboy casual outfit he found, on his first day, the jeans and black shirt with symbol.

And a third one based on Red Robins Outfit. Danny kept the red for the main part of the outfit, with Black, but for the boots he chose white. The arms of his top were also white. In general he added green accents like, the soles of his shoes, lines here and there. To top it of in addition to the domino, he made a mask for his mouth - it was also black with green accents. But what he did not create was a cape, he didn't like capes. They mostly got in the way of things.

He got his outfits, folded them together and went on the search for a bag. It seemed the building he found himself in, was quite lived in, even if the underground lab looked abandoned. Danny found a room with the Symbol that was on the shirt he found in the lab, Superboy's room. Since Red Robin tried to clone Superboy and from what Danny heard on the tapes he listened to, it seems the room wasnt used for some time, as such probably nothing of it would be missed. In a closet Danny found a few bags. He took one that seemed big enough for his clothes and then some and left the room again.

He packed the outfits, his phone and also some food from the kitchen. As he prepared to leave intangibly he took out the phone, typed in the address of the nearest Lazarus Pit and left.

Two hours later the lights in the building turned on.

After around 30 minutes he found a small room a way away. The door was not locked. The room looked like a university dorm: it had a bed, a table, a kitchenette and a bathroom. Danny made his way towards the kitchenette. He looked through the cabinets and was happy to see it was mostly stocked up on canned goods. As he contiued to search he also found a package of sliced bread for a toaster. It was shrinked in ist plastic and completely green. Well that showed him there hasnt been someone here for a looong time. Well good thing he doesn't like toast.

Danny put the loaf back and went back to the cans. A good thing was that they all were full meals you only had to heat up in a pot. He choose a soup. He knew that someone who hadnt eaten in a long time, light foods like soups are better. He just put the same logic to his new body since it has never eaten before.

He did it, out of the 20 (test) tubes of Lazarus Water, each containing 100 ml of the Waters, he could gain 650ml Pure Ectoplasm, it was not much but would help him for the start, he just needed to keep it in his body, as such - no getting hurt/needing to heal - and find more.

He injected the ectoplasm in himself, with an epipen like contraption he built himself with the unused materials in one corner of the lab. Just like ecto dejecto. Maybe after he has enough ectoplasm, he should also make that, now he first needs pure ectoplasm to heal his degrading body. He made a note in his head that, the pure ecto only works on him because of his soul, if it were a real human or even just human clone, it would have negative effects since ecto can be quite corrosive.

In the Data found about the Lazarus Water, it said these came from Lazarus Pits that were scattered across the world, but most of them were under the control of a cult named the League of Assassins or League of Shadows. A cult full of assassins, who used this composition to heal teamselves from fatal wounds and their leader used them to prolong his life for many hundreds of years. A few of the Locations of the Cult's Pits were written down. It seems but as if there were more, and some of them apparently were not found yet, good, first after training up his stealth and body again, the first stop for Danny after leaving this Lab, would be one of the cults lesser used locations, additionally best also the nearest one.

The first thing Danny did was search for the documents about Tim's cloning attempts. He soon found them, after reading through all of them, he got all the knowledge he needed, and soon found the problem. The reason he could not clone Superboy was that Superboy was already a clone and cloning a clone, was very, very difficult, clones themself already don't have the most stable DNA, even though from the analysis of Superboy, he was less of a clone and more a test tube baby. Danny even got into the Cadmus files, Cadmus was apparrently the group that created Superboy, additionally to being a test tube baby of two male DNA's his own DNA was then even more enhanced and modified, to give him his powers called TTK, so he could mimic the powers of whoever Superman was.

Danny thought Superman was a very pretentious name.

While continueing to search through the data found on the computer Danny came across something that intrigued him - Lazarus Water. From the pictures and composition it was similar to ectoplasm, more a mix of ectoplasm and something different. Maybe Danny could use his scientific knowledge to part these two substances and have pure ectoplasm, that should help him both with his clone body and his power problem.
