me, getting attached to a name and design, but realizing that i used dunnock for a brown and white patched cat when its a brown tabby prefix: DUNNOCKFACE YOU GODDAMN FAILURE WHY DIDN'T I DOUBLE CHECK THESE NAMES WHEN USING A NAME I CONJURED IN EIGHTH GRADE
I have some good news for you: as long as the brown patches of this cat are the predominant colour (51%, for instance) and the cat is a tabby, this name is still completely viable! It’s a little unusual to give it to a patched cat rather than a totally brown one, but I do think there’s a little bit of wiggle room there, so you might be able to make it work. I hope this helps!
